Dr. Samantha Croft is a Professor of Biology at Austin Community College, driven by a commitment to academic excellence through faculty advocacy. Beyond her classroom engagement, she has held significant leadership roles such as Faculty Senate President and Assistant Department Chair. She also led the Teaching and Learning Academy, an innovative faculty development program enhancing teaching practices and fostering a sense of community among faculty members. These positions have allowed her to make contributions reflecting her deep commitment to uplifting fellow educators and advancing faculty issues. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and a B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Texas at Austin.
