Kat Winchester, a former peer tutor for the Center for Academic Success at Lincoln Land Community College, has served as an embedded tutor since Summer 2023. She recently transferred to the University of Illinois Springfield to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, but is still employed by the Center for Academic Success as a Subject Tutor and continues her embedded tutor assignments. She also has two years’ experience volunteering as an English as a second language teacher.
